Mark Saliba - Dentist
Mark trained in dentistry at King's College, University of London qualifying in 1984. He also holds a qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons in London. Mark moved to Bath in 1993 and took over the Hospital Road Surgery in 1995. He specialises in straightforward mercury-free and holistic dental therapies and offers the least invasive solutions to your dental health and cosmetic requirements using new technologies and innovations known to work reliably for the patient's benefit.
Julie Mason - Dentist
Dr Julie Mason qualified from The Birmingham University Dental School in 1988 having previously obtained an honours degree in Medical Biochemistry. She has subsequently gained extensive experience in both NHS and private general dental practice, working in Surrey and more recently in the Bath area. Dr Mason regularly updates and expands her knowledge of dentistry by attending Continuing Professional Development Courses and is a member of the British Dental Association.
Mandy Webb - Practice Manager
Mandy is our practice manager at Delicate Dentistry, and she has worked for Delicate Dentistry since 2002.
Mandy has lived in Wiltshire all her life and was once a member of the largest family in the area (we’re not sure if this is true anymore!).
Mandy has worked in administration since leaving school at the age of 16 and really enjoys the different challenges the job can throw up. Mandy has two children and three grandchildren who she sees a lot as they live locally, which gives her the opportunity to look after them frequently. Mandy’s brothers and their families also live locally and Mandy looks forward to the various family get-togethers throughout the year. Mandy loves to travel and has been lucky enough to visit many places including Singapore, Hong Kong, Lapland and India. Mandy’s favourite holiday was to Vietnam and hopefully she will have the opportunity to visit there again one day.
Laura Brown - Dental Nurse
Laura is one of our dental nurses here at Delicate Dentistry. Laura started here in November 2020 and qualified as a dental Nurse in 2004.
Laura keeps up to date with all current courses with in dentistry and enjoys her job. Laura is hard working, professional and has over 20 years’ experience as a dental nurse.
Laura is a mother to Ellie, Edward and William and loves spending time with her husband and their children. Laura has a passion for baking and previously ran her own afternoon tea business. Laura likes to spend her spare time with family, friends and enjoying walks with her dog Digby.
Heidi Ladd- Dental Nurse
Heidi is one of our dental nurses at Delicate Dentistry. Heidi qualified in 2023 after completing on the job training in surgery for 3 years. Heidi joined Delicate Dentistry in 2022 whilst training as a dental nurse. Heidi takes pride in being a dental nurse and keeps up to date with all courses, and is very good with all patient care within her job.
In Heidi’s spare time she loves spending quality time with her husband and two daughters which includes walking their two dogs Olive & Daisy. Heidi also loves to relax with a book and socialise with friends.
Monica Pearce - Head Nurse
Monica has been working for Delicate Dentistry since 2003, She moved away from Westbury in 2009 to have her second child and came back to the practice in 2014 when she moved back to Westbury, which is her Hometown.
Monica has been a Dental Nurse since 1999, and she loves all aspects of dentistry and very much enjoys interacting with the patients and making sure they have the best care and experience when attending the practice. She is very hard working and professional. Monica is trained in taking dental impressions and takes impressions for whitening trays, sports / night guards within the practice and she is also able to give oral hygiene advice.
Monica is married and a mother of two boys who are grown up and in their early twenties and mid teenage years. Monica is also qualified in Reflexology, Indian head massage, and full body massage.
Sophie Sawyer - Trainee Dental Nurse
Sophie is our trainee dental nurse at Delicate Dentistry and had been working here since March 2021. Sophie’s other duties are the day-to-day running of the decontamination room and making sure surgery instruments are all sterilised and ready for use. Sophie takes pride in all aspects of her job and is very good with all our patients and their care whilst here.
Sophie has a young daughter with her husband and a dog called Luna. During her free time, she enjoys walks with the family, hosting dinners and spending time with friends. Sophie hates the cold and would love to move somewhere hot!
